This class is about being planted—rooted deeply in God’s family, thriving as part of His Church, and growing into the fullness of who He created you to be. It’s about learning how to live as apprentices to Jesus in the context of His Church—both global and local.
The Church is not just a building or a gathering; it is Christ’s Body, His family, and His assembly of ambassadors. Together, we are called to build one another up, love each other as brothers and sisters, and represent King Jesus in our communities. This is the foundation of who we are and why we’re here.
Each session occurs on the first and second Sundays during second service in the garage door room of our lobby. RSVP today!
Well, yes and no. Here at Faith Church we don’t have membership. Membership usually consists of paying dues and receiving a benefit. We believe a more accurate word to describe affiliation with the church is Partnership. So, yes, if you call Faith Church your home church - Basics is for you.
Of course not! We welcome anyone to attend Faith Church at any level of engagement. However, we hope, immediately or over time, you’ll recognize your value and ministry in the Body of Christ and desire to walk in that. Many ministry teams don’t require Basics, but there are trusted and leadership roles that require an official partnership agreement. Trusted and leadership roles generally have a higher level of responsibility or trust (like working in kids areas or leading a team).
Basics is a two-week class that takes place every month during the 10:45 service in the Garage Door room. It will be the first two Sundays each month unless otherwise noted.
RSVP is not required, but we love to know who is planning on coming!! To RSVP it’s simple, just click on one of the buttons on this site.
If you took Growth Track or Catch the Vision and became a church partner, you do not need to take Basics. In fact, sometime soon, we’ll be sending all the church partners a link to watch the updated Basics Videos.
The information is similar, updated, and condensed into two hours instead of three.
